I engaged, encouraged, and assisted young children (Aged 5-11) in learning new skills to help them with problematic life issues. Using methods, for example, from The Coping Cat Programme (Kendall & Hedtke., 2006). The programme relies on a cognitive behavioural approach, recognising and modifying distorted cognitions, devising coping strategies and self-reinforcement, and behavioural activities such as role plays, along with the cognitive information processing involved with the individual child’s anxieties.

With, empathy and congruence I successfully deliver CBT to clients of all ages suffering from various psychological disorders including; Depression, Trauma, and Generalised Anxiety order disorder.
